CORE wipe schedule: every Thursday at 18:00 UTC

Map wipes every Thursday at 18:00 UTC, blueprints on the first Thursday of the month. Next CORE wipe dates, your local time and what survives a wipe.

PEPEL CORE is an EU 2x trio Rust server with a weekly map wipe. The map resets every Thursday at 18:00 UTC; blueprints reset once a month, on the first Thursday, also at 18:00 UTC. Nothing happens on a timer: a staff member runs each wipe by hand and confirms it in Discord before it starts. This page explains what the schedule means for your base, your blueprints, your credits and your kits, and shows the wipe hour in your local time.

When wipes happen

The map wipes once a week, on Thursday at 18:00 UTC. Everyone starts over on a fresh 3000-size map with a new seed. Blueprints are not touched by the weekly wipe.

Blueprints wipe once a month, on the first Thursday of the month at 18:00 UTC. That day the map changes as usual and your researched blueprints reset too, so the whole server starts from zero.

No wipe on CORE is automatic. The server does not reset itself when a countdown hits zero. Staff perform every wipe during announced maintenance and post a confirmation in Discord #announcements before it starts. The in-game /wipe screen, the site and the status page show the planned time; the Discord post confirms that the wipe is going ahead, and the status page shows the new wipe date once the server is back on the new map.

A displayed wipe time is a target, not proof that a wipe happened. If the server is late or the plan changes, Discord says so first.

  • Map wipe: every Thursday, 18:00 UTC
  • Blueprint wipe: first Thursday of the month, 18:00 UTC (map wipes the same minute)
  • Every wipe is confirmed in Discord #announcements before it starts
  • Nothing resets automatically; staff run each wipe by hand

Next wipes

Next map wipe: Thursday 15 October 2026 at 18:00 UTC. The new map is already generated and checked: size 3000, seed 1149845251. A preview of its terrain, roads and monuments is pinned in the CORE section of Discord; choose CORE in Channels & Roles to see that section.

Next blueprint wipe: Thursday 5 November 2026 at 18:00 UTC. Blueprints and the map reset together that evening. The blueprint reset is a separate manual step and gets its own confirmation in Discord, like every wipe.

Both dates are the plan we are working to, not a promise. The current map (size 3000, seed 424242) stays live until the 15 October wipe is confirmed. Weekly map wipes continue on 22 October, 29 October, 5 November, 12 November and 19 November, each at 18:00 UTC. Their seeds are planned, but those maps are not generated yet, so a planned seed can still change before its Thursday.

If you only check one place, check Discord #announcements on Thursday evening.

  • 15 Oct 2026, 18:00 UTC: map wipe (size 3000, seed 1149845251, map prepared and previewed)
  • 22 Oct 2026, 18:00 UTC: map wipe (planned seed 1516367132)
  • 29 Oct 2026, 18:00 UTC: map wipe (planned seed 988851078)
  • 5 Nov 2026, 18:00 UTC: map wipe plus blueprint wipe (planned seed 2000398036)
  • 12 Nov 2026, 18:00 UTC: map wipe (planned seed 1468598533)
  • 19 Nov 2026, 18:00 UTC: map wipe (planned seed 1297639461)

What a map wipe removes, and what a blueprint wipe removes

A map wipe replaces the world. Every base, tool cupboard, deployable and box is gone, and so is everything in your inventory and on your character. Sleeping bags and beds go with the map. The leaderboard counts the current wipe only, so rankings start again from zero.

Earned credits belong to the wipe they were earned in. When the map wipes, your credit balance resets, and any contract reward you completed but never claimed is lost with it. Run /contract claim before Thursday evening.

A blueprint wipe does all of the above and also clears your researched blueprints. You go back to default blueprints and research again from scratch. On CORE this happens only on the first Thursday of the month, never on the other weekly wipes.

  • Map wipe: bases, deployables, loot, inventory, sleeping bags, credits, unclaimed contract rewards, the current leaderboard
  • Blueprint wipe: everything above plus your researched blueprints
  • Weekly wipes keep your blueprints; only the first Thursday of the month resets them

What survives a wipe

Your Steam account, profile and reward history stay. Past receipts remain visible in your profile so that a delivery can be checked later. A pending or uncertain receipt is not proof that an item was delivered: check your inventory in game and ask support before you spend again on the same thing.

Membership time keeps running through a wipe. A 30-day EMBER, FLAME or INFERNO period is counted from activation and is not paused, extended or shortened by a wipe. Memberships are not on sale yet; checkout opens only after the Tebex review, and their kits are paid gameplay items, not cosmetics.

The shared 24-hour premium kit clock keeps running too. All three membership kits share one rolling 24-hour timer, and that timer does not reset when the map does. A day you did not claim is not banked.

Premium kits have a wipe delay on top of that clock: EMBER unlocks 6 hours after the wipe, FLAME 12 hours after, INFERNO 24 hours after. INFERNO includes a semi-automatic rifle and 64 rifle rounds, and it is the last to unlock.

Earned-credit kits and the credit shop have no wipe delay, with two exceptions: the hunting bow and the crossbow in the shop unlock 2 hours after a wipe. The free Starter kit (stone hatchet, stone pickaxe, three apples) is available right after the wipe and every 6 hours after that.

  • Keeps running: membership days, the shared 24-hour premium kit clock, your profile and receipt history
  • Resets: earned credits, unclaimed contract rewards, leaderboard, bases and inventory
  • Kit wipe delays: Starter 0 h, EMBER 6 h, FLAME 12 h, INFERNO 24 h, shop bow and crossbow 2 h
  • Earned kits: Recovery 25 credits every 4 h, Builder 60 credits every 12 h, Scout 30 credits every 6 h, no wipe delay

Map size and seed policy

Every CORE map is a procedural map of size 3000. Seeds come from a rotation list that staff prepare ahead of time, one seed per Thursday, and the list excludes every seed the server has already used. The next map is generated and checked on the server before wipe day, and its preview is pinned in the CORE section of Discord so you can look at monuments and roads in advance.

The player limit is currently 100. That is the connection cap we are starting with, not a tested capacity, and it can change. The current map is size 3000, seed 424242; it went live on 12 October 2026 at 01:27 UTC, a first wipe run outside the Thursday slot. From 15 October the plan is the weekly Thursday rhythm described above.

  • Map size: 3000 (procedural)
  • Seeds: one planned per week; a seed is final once its map is generated and checked, later seeds are targets
  • Current map: 3000 / seed 424242; next map: 3000 / seed 1149845251
  • Player limit: 100 (starting connection cap, can change)

Where wipes are announced

Discord #announcements is the one channel that confirms a wipe before it starts. Join at https://discord.gg/4rVK5uT5WB.

Discord also has an optional Wipe alerts role for people who want a mention instead of checking the channel. It gives no other permissions, and staff can mention it when a wipe is confirmed. If you do not see it in Channels & Roles, ask in #help.

In game, type /wipe to open the schedule screen with the published map and blueprint targets in UTC. The server's info messages repeat the same dates. On the site, the status page shows the next map wipe, the next blueprint wipe and the start date of the current wipe, taken from the game server's own wipe ID and heartbeat; when the server is not reporting, the page says so instead of guessing.

  • Discord #announcements: confirmation before each wipe
  • Wipe alerts role in Discord: optional; staff can mention it when a wipe is confirmed
  • In game: /wipe shows published map and blueprint targets
  • Site: /status shows next map wipe, next blueprint wipe and the current wipe's start date

The wipe hour in your local time

18:00 UTC does not move, but your local clock does when summer time ends. Europe (London, Berlin, Paris, Kyiv) switches to winter time on Sunday 25 October 2026, so the 15 and 22 October wipes land an hour later on your clock than the ones from 29 October onward. New York switches on Sunday 1 November 2026, so 29 October is still 14:00 there and 5 November becomes 13:00. Moscow, Istanbul and Sao Paulo do not change their clocks. In every zone listed the wipe falls on Thursday.

  • Europe switches to winter time on 25 Oct 2026; New York on 1 Nov 2026
  • 15 and 22 Oct: use the summer-time column everywhere
  • 29 Oct: winter time in Europe, summer time in New York
  • 5 Nov onward: use the winter-time column everywhere

Weekly map wipe at 18:00 UTC in local time. The summer-time column applies to the 15 and 22 October 2026 wipes in Europe and to 15, 22 and 29 October in New York; the winter-time column applies after the clocks change.

Questions and answers

Is the wipe automatic?

No. Nothing on CORE resets on a timer. A staff member runs each wipe by hand at the published time, and it is confirmed in Discord #announcements before it starts. The /wipe screen in game and the status page show the target time, which is not proof that a wipe happened; once the server is back on the new map, the status page shows the new wipe date and a fresh heartbeat.

What happens if I am online during the wipe?

Before the wipe, staff close new connections, save the world and stop the server, so anyone still online at that point is disconnected. The server comes back on the new map. Check Discord #announcements and the status page: when the status page shows a new wipe date and a fresh heartbeat, reconnect to core.pepel.gg:28015. Anything you did not claim before the shutdown, including a completed contract reward, is gone with the old wipe.

Do I lose my blueprints every week?

No. The weekly Thursday wipe is a map wipe: bases, loot and the map go, blueprints stay. Blueprints reset only on the first Thursday of the month at 18:00 UTC; the next blueprint wipe is targeted for 5 November 2026 and will be confirmed in Discord like any other wipe.

Do kits reset with the wipe?

Starter is free, has no wipe delay and is available every 6 hours, so you can claim it as soon as you are back in. Recovery, Builder and Scout cost earned credits, and credits reset with the wipe, so you earn again first. Premium kits keep their shared 24-hour clock across the wipe and add a wipe delay: EMBER 6 hours, FLAME 12 hours, INFERNO 24 hours after the wipe. The hunting bow and crossbow in the credit shop unlock 2 hours after a wipe.

Does my membership lose days when the map wipes?

No. A 30-day membership keeps counting from activation and a wipe does not pause, shorten or extend it. The shared 24-hour premium kit clock also keeps running through the wipe, and a day you did not claim is not banked. Memberships are not on sale yet; checkout opens after the Tebex review.

How do I know the exact minute?

The target is 18:00 UTC every Thursday; use the table above for your city. The confirmation is posted in Discord #announcements before the wipe starts, and staff can mention the Wipe alerts role. In game, /wipe shows the published dates; on the site, the status page shows the next map and blueprint wipe and the start date of the current wipe.

What is a forced wipe, and does CORE follow it on the first Thursday?

Facepunch releases the monthly Rust update on the first Thursday of the month, and every server moves to a fresh map when it installs that update. Players call this the forced wipe. CORE's blueprint wipe is scheduled for the same first Thursday at 18:00 UTC, so map and blueprints reset together once a month. Facepunch sets the release time of the update, not us: if the game update arrives after our 18:00 wipe, the server needs another short restart to install it. Game updates can interrupt access; watch Discord #announcements and the status page.

Can I see the next map before the wipe?

Yes. Once the next map is generated and checked on the server, a preview of its terrain, roads and monuments is pinned in the CORE section of Discord along with the seed; choose CORE in Channels & Roles to see that section. The 15 October map (size 3000, seed 1149845251) is already prepared and previewed. Later seeds in the rotation are planned but their maps are not generated yet.
